CVE-2025-60360

Local denial of service via leaked thread object

Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025

Memory leakage in r2r_subprocess_init in radare2 5.9.8 and earlier allows local users to exhaust memory and interrupt the process. When r_sys_signal fails after the SIGCHLD thread is created, the function returns without freeing the newly allocated thread object. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and repeated calls that reach this error path; the grounded impact is limited to availability.
