Unauthenticated service interruption via overlong SSID
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC6 V2.0 firmware 15.03.06.50 allows remote attackers to interrupt router service via an HTTP request. The /goform/fast_setting_wifi_set handler accepts and processes an overlong ssid value without length validation, overflowing its stack buffer. The request is unauthenticated and needs no user interaction; confirmed impact is limited to service interruption rather than code execution.
