Unauthenticated denial of service via oversized parameters
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflows in Tenda AC6 v2.0 firmware 15.03.06.50 allow remote attackers to crash the router via crafted HTTP requests. The /goform/SetClientState handler copies oversized limitSpeed, deviceId, and limitSpeedUp values without checking the destination stack-buffer bounds. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is loss of router availability rather than data disclosure or modification.
