Authenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Oct 10, 2025 · Updated Oct 10, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in JeeWMS 20250820 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via the cgUploadController.do endpoint. The saveFiles function accepts uploaded files without checking their type or content, enabling a malicious file to reach the server. Normal user privileges and network access to the upload endpoint are required, after which attacker-supplied code executes with the service's permissions.
