Metadata disclosure via improper TLS certificate validation

Improper certificate validation in Lenovo Universal Device Client before 25.7.0.21 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read application metadata. The UDC TLS client accepts a substituted certificate during connections to Lenovo cloud services instead of enforcing the expected certificate pin, exposing device information, geolocation, and telemetry. The attacker must be able to intercept adjacent network traffic; the reported consequence is metadata disclosure, with no integrity or availability impact.
