Unauthenticated object injection via unsafe PHP deserialization
Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026
PHP object injection in ThemeREX Addons 2.36.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject objects without authentication. The affected request handler is undisclosed; it deserializes attacker-controlled PHP data without validating the resulting object. Exploitation requires a suitable POP chain on the WordPress site, after which object magic methods can execute code, alter files or data, or interrupt service.
