Stored XSS via forged privileged-user requests
Published Sep 26, 2025 · Updated Sep 26, 2025
CSRF in NewsMAN NewsmanApp 2.7.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to store cross-site scripting payloads through a forged request. Patchstack has not published the affected handler or the missing request-validation operation that permits the forged state-changing request. Exploitation requires a privileged WordPress user to interact with attacker-controlled content, after which the stored payload executes in a later visitor's browser.
