Stored XSS via forged privileged-user requests
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Video Blogster Lite 1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause stored cross-site scripting. Patchstack and the CNA record do not identify the affected handler, forged request parameters, or missing request-validation operation. Exploitation requires a privileged WordPress user to interact with attacker-controlled content; the stored script then runs in a later viewer's browser under the site's origin.
