Code execution via malicious serialized file import
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Deserialization of untrusted data in Bosch Rexroth IndraWorks allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a manipulated file. The file-import path deserializes attacker-controlled serialized data without a disclosed validation or type-restriction mechanism. Execution requires a user to open the crafted file; successful exploitation runs arbitrary code and completely compromises the workstation.
