Unauthenticated directory deletion via path traversal
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Relative path traversal in AutomationDirect Productivity Suite 4.4.1.19 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary directories. ProductivityService fails to confine a relative directory path to the PLC simulator's intended storage root before performing deletion. Network access to the simulator is sufficient, with no authentication or user interaction; the published impact is limited to directory deletion.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
