Service interruption via unchecked BIO allocation failure

NULL pointer dereference in glib-networking 2.60 through 2.80.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt TLS-dependent services. The OpenSSL BIO constructors g_tls_bio_new_from_iostream() and g_tls_bio_new_from_datagram_based() fail to check allocation results before writing BIO state, so allocation failure produces an invalid-memory write. Exploitation requires the optional OpenSSL backend and an out-of-memory condition; the reported consequence is limited service interruption.
