CVE-2025-60006

Privilege escalation via unhardened CLI scripts

Published Oct 9, 2025 · Updated Oct 9, 2025

OS command injection in Junos OS Evolved 24.2 and 24.4 allows local users to execute unauthorized commands through crafted CLI input. Some CLI options are processed by scripts that fail to neutralize command elements before passing data to a shell. A low-privilege CLI account is required; affected ranges are 24.2 before 24.2R2-S2-EVO and 24.4 before 24.4R2-EVO, and exploitation bypasses assigned permissions.
