Unauthenticated file access via special FTP usernames

Authentication bypass in Juniper Networks Junos OS allows remote attackers to read and write files through the device's FTP server. The FTP authentication path treats accounts named "ftp" or "anonymous" as passwordless and grants access to the account's home directory despite a configured password. Exploitation requires the FTP service to be enabled and one of those usernames to exist; access is limited to reading and writing files in that home directory.
