CVE-2025-59890

Local code execution via project archive traversal

Published Nov 27, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025

Path traversal in Eaton Galileo 11.1.1 and earlier allows local users to execute unauthorized code via a malicious project archive. The Design Tool extracts archive entries without adequately restricting their paths, enabling a Zip Slip write outside the intended directory. High-privilege local access is required, and successful exploitation can place files where they trigger code or command execution.
