Uncontrolled library search in Eaton Intelligent Power Protector before 1.76 allows local users to execute code through its Windows installer. The installer loads library files from an uncontrolled search-path element without authenticating them, so a substituted library in a modified package runs. Exploitation requires package access and user interaction to launch the installer; the code runs in the installer's security context.
