CVE-2025-59841Network attack vector

Protected endpoint access via persistent session tokens

Published Sep 25, 2025 · Updated Sep 25, 2025

Insufficient session expiration in FlagForgeCTF flagForge 2.2.0 through 2.3.0 allows remote attackers to reuse logged-out sessions. The logout flow leaves NextAuth session and CSRF cookies valid, so protected endpoints such as /api/profile continue to accept them. Reachability requires valid session material from a previously authenticated account; reuse permits profile access and unauthorized actions after logout.
