Permission bypass in Anthropic Claude Code before 1.0.120 allows remote attackers to access denied files through symbolic links. The permission deny-rule check does not account for a link's resolved target, allowing an accepted link path to reference an explicitly denied file. Exploitation requires an explicitly denied file and an accessible symlink, and the consequence is access to that file despite the deny rule.
