CVE-2025-59785Network attack vector

Backup password-policy bypass via insufficient API validation

Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026

Input validation in 2N Access Commander 3.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to bypass backup-encryption password policy. The backup API accepts an encryption password that violates the configured password policy; 2N does not identify the endpoint path or validation routine. Administrator privileges are required, and the result is a backup protected by a password weaker than policy permits; no direct backup disclosure is reported.
