Arbitrary directory creation via relative path traversal
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Relative path traversal in AutomationDirect Productivity Suite allows remote attackers to create arbitrary directories on Windows hosts. The ProductivityService PLC simulator uses an attacker-controlled relative path for directory creation without constraining the result to its intended base directory. Network access to the simulator is required, and CISA identifies an additional attack requirement without publishing its nature.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
