Browser script execution via unencoded searchdata output
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Reflected XSS in PHPGurukul Rail Pass Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via searchdata. The download-pass.php handler embeds the submitted searchdata value directly into HTML without context-aware encoding or sanitization. No application login is required, but a victim must render the crafted response; successful exploitation changes content and runs script in that browser.
