Browser script execution via unencoded search input
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Reflected XSS in check-status.php in Restaurant Table Booking System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in a victim's browser. The searchdata value is inserted directly into HTML output without context-aware encoding or sanitization, so submitted markup executes as JavaScript. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to load the crafted response, exposing session data and same-origin actions without affecting availability.
