Stored XSS via unescaped action-log headers
Published Sep 19, 2025 · Updated Sep 19, 2025
Stored XSS in Grokability Snipe-IT before 8.1.18 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in report viewers' browsers. ActionLogsTransformer returns stored action-log user_agent and remote_ip values without HTML escaping. A low-privileged account must update its profile, and a report-authorized user must view the activity report with User-Agent enabled; the script runs in that viewer's session.
