Firewall mishandling in PureVPN Linux CLI 2.0.1 and GUI 2.10.0 allows remote attackers to reach previously blocked services. On VPN connection, both clients flush existing iptables rules and set the INPUT policy to ACCEPT, then fail to restore the prior state after disconnection. Exposure follows when the affected client runs on a Linux host that relies on UFW, container, or custom iptables rules for network protection.
