Redis data access via hard-coded credentials
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Hard-coded Redis credentials in Fortinet FortiWeb allow local users with shell access to read data from the Redis service. FortiWeb embeds credentials accepted by its local Redis service rather than using an appliance-specific secret for that connection. Exploitation requires authenticated shell access to the appliance and exposes Redis data, with no reported access beyond that service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0.0 <=7.0.12
