CVE-2025-59668Network attack vector

Unauthenticated UDP denial of service via NULL dereference

Published Sep 30, 2025 · Updated Sep 30, 2025

NULL pointer dereference in Nihon Kohden CNS-6201 allows remote attackers to crash its UDP service with a crafted datagram. The packet-receiving process dereferences a NULL pointer while handling the specially crafted UDP datagram and terminates abnormally. Versions 01-03, 01-04, 01-05, 01-06, 02-10, 02-11, and 02-40 require no authentication or user interaction when the UDP service is reachable, resulting in central monitoring interruption.
