CVE-2025-5964Network attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via API path traversal

Published Jun 15, 2025 · Updated Feb 23, 2026

Path traversal in an API endpoint of M-Files Server before 25.6.14925.0 allows remote authenticated users to read server files. M-Files has not identified the affected endpoint, path parameter, or validation error that lets a request escape its intended directory. A valid account and network access to the API are required; the published impact is file disclosure, with no direct file modification or service interruption.
