CVE-2025-59616

Memory corruption via repeated buffer-descriptor IOCTLs

Published Jul 6, 2026 · Updated Jul 6, 2026

Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon Computer Vision allows local users to corrupt memory through repeated IOCTL calls. Reusing one buffer file descriptor across multiple IOCTL operations causes Computer Vision to access memory after it has been freed. Low-privileged local access and user interaction are required; Qualcomm has not published the specific post-corruption outcome.
