Stack-based buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users with high privileges to corrupt process memory during data copying. The Windows Compute data-copy path writes an input buffer into a smaller output buffer and overruns stack storage; Qualcomm has not named the function or module. Exploitation requires local access and high privileges; resulting corruption permits process-data disclosure or alteration or crashes the affected process.
