Stored XSS via unsanitized module titles
Published Sep 23, 2025 · Updated Sep 23, 2025
Stored XSS in module titles in DNN Platform before 10.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript into rendered pages. The module-title editor preserves administrator- or content-editor-supplied HTML, including scripts, for later page rendering. An administrator or content editor must save the title, and script execution requires another user to view the affected page.
