Admin session compromise via stored exercise feedback
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
Stored XSS in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.34 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The exercise-history feedback path stores staff-supplied text and later renders it without sufficient output encoding, so embedded script persists in the database and runs when the history is viewed. A staff account and an administrator viewing the affected history are required; successful execution can expose the administrator's session and enable actions under that session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
