Server-side request forgery in Microsoft Azure Compute Resource Provider allows remote attackers to elevate privileges over a network. Microsoft has not disclosed the request-processing locus, the attacker-controlled input, or how the service selects the internal destination. The hosted Azure control-plane service is reachable without authentication or user interaction, and successful exploitation grants elevated privileges.
