Uncontrolled resource consumption in Microsoft Windows RPC allows remote attackers to interrupt service through network requests. Microsoft has not disclosed which RPC interface processes the crafted requests, which resource grows without a bound, or whether the result is a hang, crash, or reboot. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation affects availability without reported data exposure or modification.
