Code execution via attacker-controlled library path
Published Oct 3, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025
Argument injection in Unity Runtime before 2025-10-02 allows local users to execute code through a crafted runtime launch argument. The xrsdk-pre-init-library option passes an attacker-selected path directly to dlopen, which loads the referenced native library. Execution inherits the application's privileges; remote triggering additionally requires an exposed URI handler and attacker-controlled file content.
