Administrative access via crafted Emergency Access URL
Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
Authentication bypass in Click Studios Passwordstate before 9.9 Build 9972 allows local users to access the Administration section. A crafted URL against the Emergency Access page skips the intended emergency-password check, although Click Studios has not disclosed the faulty code path. Exploitation requires local access and high-complexity URL construction and permits low-impact unauthorized administrative changes.
