Secret disclosure via missing dev-server deny rules
Published Sep 19, 2025 · Updated Sep 19, 2025
Information disclosure in Cloudflare Workers SDK's Vite plugin before 1.6.0 allows remote attackers to read project files. The cloudflare() Vite configuration supplies no server.fs.deny rules, so dev-server routing serves root files instead of limiting requests to configured assets. Reachability requires a development server exposed to a local network or the internet, and the bounded consequence is read-only disclosure of secrets and internal files.
