CVE-2025-59422Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-user chat disclosure via missing role check

Published Sep 25, 2025 · Updated Sep 25, 2025

Broken access control in Dify 1.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to read other workspace users' chat messages and filenames. The ChatMessageListApi GET handler accepts a conversation_id and returns message records without checking whether the current account has edit permission. Any normal workspace member who knows another conversation's identifier can retrieve its query text and filenames; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
