Stored script execution via unsanitized profile bio
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Frappe Learning 2.34.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via profile bio content. ProfileAbout.vue passed the stored profile.data.bio value to Vue's v-html directive without sanitizing decoded SVG or HTML content. A low-privileged user must save crafted content and another user must view the profile, which executes the script in that viewer's application context.
