Stored cross-site scripting via unescaped reviews
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 22, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in CubeCart before 6.5.11 allows remote authenticated users to inject HTML into approved product reviews. The foundation skin's element.product_reviews.php template renders the review.review value inside a blockquote without output escaping or filtering. A regular customer must submit the review and an administrator must approve it; subsequent product-page views expose visitors to attacker-controlled links or page defacement.
