Administrator-triggered template import via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in themebon Digital Marketing and Agency Templates Addons for Elementor 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger imports. The import_templates() function processes a state-changing import request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce, allowing the victim's authenticated session to authorize the action. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or perform an equivalent forged-request action, and the reported consequence is an unauthorized template import.
