CVE-2025-59374Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Targeted device compromise via trojanized update builds

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Embedded malicious code in ASUS Live Update before 3.6.6 allows remote attackers to perform unintended actions on targeted devices. Unauthorized modified client builds were distributed through a supply-chain compromise and activate malicious behavior only when device-specific targeting conditions match. ASUS has not disclosed the code locus or resulting actions; exposure requires installation of a compromised build on a matching device.
