Authenticated file write via path traversal
Published Nov 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 25, 2025
Path traversal in ASUS Router firmware 3.0.0.4_386, 3.0.0.4_388, and 3.0.0.6_102 allows remote authenticated users to write files. ASUS has not disclosed the affected request handler or the filesystem operation that fails to restrict attacker-controlled paths to the intended directory. Administrative authentication is required, and exploitation creates or overwrites files outside that directory, affecting router integrity without reported disclosure or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
