CVE-2025-5937Network attack vector

Settings reset via missing nonce validation

Published Jun 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

CSRF in VideoWhisper MicroPayments 3.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset plugin settings via a forged request. The adminOptions() handler accepts an administrative settings-reset request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce tied to the action. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, and the resulting action alters the plugin configuration.
