CVE-2025-59360Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cluster-wide code execution via joined PID arguments

Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025

OS command injection in Chaos Mesh 2.7.2 and earlier allows remote attackers with in-cluster access to execute code across the cluster. The killProcess resolver joins unvalidated PID strings into a shell command and passes the result to ExecBypass in a selected pod. Exploitation requires the unauthenticated controller GraphQL service exposed by the related access-control flaw and permits commands in arbitrary pods.
