CVE-2025-59352Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unrestricted peer file paths

Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025

Path traversal in dragonflyoss Dragonfly before 2.1.0 allows remote attackers to read or write arbitrary files through peer APIs. The peer APIs accept attacker-controlled task paths that reach os.OpenFile with read-write access without filesystem confinement. Network access to a peer's gRPC or HTTP endpoint is sufficient; exposed secrets can be read, while chosen writes can lead to remote code execution.
