CVE-2025-59341Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via path traversal

Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025

Path traversal in esm.sh 136 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through crafted module URLs. The /pr/ route accepts ../ segments in a requested package path, derives an uncontained filesystem filename, and passes it to os.Open. No authentication or user interaction is required; returned data can include configuration, database, credential, and key files readable by the service account.
