CVE-2025-59336Network attack vector

Service crash via malformed package-name traversal

Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025

Relative path traversal in Lumen Labs Luanox before 0.1.1 allows remote attackers to crash the service via a malformed package name. The rockspec verifier accepts package names containing dot-dot path segments, and the upload path stores the Lua file outside its intended directory. No prior privileges or user interaction are required; Lua-only uploads prevent reported code execution or rockspec replacement.
