CVE-2025-59330Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Cryptocurrency transaction redirection via injected browser payload

Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025

Embedded malicious code in error-ex 1.3.3 allows remote attackers to redirect browser cryptocurrency transactions to attacker wallets. The compromised npm release embeds browser-only code that hooks transaction flows and replaces intended wallet addresses with attacker-controlled addresses. Execution requires the affected package inside a browser bundle and a cryptocurrency transaction; local, server, and command-line use is unaffected.
