External path control in Azure Compute Gallery allows local users with host control to execute code in a Confidential ACI guest. The confidential ACI sidecar mounts an attacker-chosen malicious file share at a sensitive guest location, where its contents run as code. Exploitation requires control of the container host and crosses into the targeted confidential container, affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
