Cross-tenant subscription disclosure via incomplete scope filtering
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Improper access control in Microsoft Azure Event Grid allows remote attackers to read other tenants' event subscription data over a network. The system-topic display path filters management-group-scoped subscriptions by a customer-chosen group ID without also enforcing the tenant boundary. A conflicting management group ID and a PolicyInsights system topic expose subscription metadata, delivery endpoints, linked identities, and unmasked delivery secrets.
