Authenticated remote code execution
Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025
Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft SharePoint Server allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code over a network. Microsoft has not disclosed the deserialization entry point, serialized object type, or validation failure that accepts attacker-controlled data. A low-privilege account and network access to an on-premises server are required; successful exploitation runs code in the SharePoint service context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
